Hence, I diligently updated all 12 days of our study mission and pretty much left this site in limbo.
It wasn't until 2010 that this site was resurrected, and under a different name. So what triggered the change to 'Stitch Travels'?
Well, I have my younger sister to thank for. When I went for exchange in the London School of Economics, my sis suggested that I bring one of my countless Stitch plush toys (all of which are gifts) along for the trip and take pictures of Stitch with famous landmarks, etc.
Excuse the Angry Bird plush, it's the only photo I have of all the Stitch-s and I'm lazy to retake another one.
I thought it was a pretty cute idea and went along with it.
Since then, the little cutie has been with me all over Asia, Europe and beyond.

Whenever I pull him out of my bag and line him up for a photo, I get funny looks, laughs and even questions from the locals and other tourists about where I've taken this plush toy to.
Hence, Stitch Travels was born (:
I mainly use this site to share with my friends and family, and also to remind myself, of my experiences on my travels. It is mainly from my perspective as a Singaporean and how being a Singaporean has in many ways prepared me for facing the world.
I tend to make references to home in more ways then one, helps remind me of home if I ever get homesick. Hence, you do get a few Singlish or dialect in-my-mind dialogues from time to time!
