Day 1 - Free and Easy in 香港

Hong Kong is also known by many as the City that never sleeps because of its massive night life culture, and it is only fitting that we were given the night off on our very first night to live and see it. (Well, we kinda twisted the tutors to let us out for that matter.)

Our first stop was to Starbucks Coffee, we're only less than 24 hours away from Singapore, and we already felt the urge to go for Starbucks. The entire set up was similar to what we usually see in Singapore. Even the menu was hugely similar.

We next proceeded on foot to the Avenue of Stars, and passed by SOHO square on our way there. The picture above was taken in SOHO square behind a display of antique cars. Those taking the picture said we were competiting who had a brighter smile.

From left: Bao Yi, Winnie, Stephie, Andrea, Yiling and myself. It was already around 9.30pm by the time we reached the Avenue of Stars, which means we missed the daily light and laser display by the bay area. Boo. But by the time the trip was over, we still managed to catch it, that was on the last day though.

However, we managed to still had a good time, taking photos of the handprints of the stars!

My mom's favourite: Andy Lau!

My personal favourite: Tony Leung!
