Day 6 - All fun and games and no company visits

Well, not exactly all fun and games either. Edward fell sick in the morning after our interesting night in 上下酒 last night, where we did a rather interesting experiment with the wallets and dropping it onto the ground. It only took all but 2 seconds for someone to pick up the empty wallet.

We gathered at the lobby as planned and were told by Xiao Deng that the weather will be very cold today and insisted that we brought along our jackets. And boy was it cold!

We visited a lot of tourist spots today, starting with the Site of Weiyuan Battery.

This was the site used by the Chinese, overlooking the sea during the Sino-Japanese war.

From left: George, Benson, Yong Wei, Wen Song and myself.

Jasmine (the trip's DYCEO) and myself.

There were lots of kids in that site,

Isn't this kid so darn adorable? I swear if I could snatch him back home, I would. And I can't help but think that Dickson and Evelyn in the background looked like parents overlooking their child. Haha.

As you can see its damn cold from their expressions, and yes, its really damn cold. And the weather will continue to stay that way for a few more days to come.

We next visited the Foshan Ancestor Temple and the Wang Fei Hong Memorial Site.

Nothing much from the site, except that it is really cold.

This turtle and snake statue was supposed to bring good luck and fortune to the people.

The place below has performances on Sundays, and since we visited the temple on a Saturday, plus the fact that it is raining and freaking cold means there's nothing much for us to see in this place.

Beside the Ancestor Temple was Wang Feihong's memorial park:

The man of the moment:

In this buliding, it has the records of Wang Feihong's entire life in display:

We then visited the bee farm where they manufacture different types of honey products and medications, nothing much to see here other than... well, bees.
